CDL Class B Driver

Barrett Paving Materials Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Class B Driver to support both the Jamesville and Litchfield locations. This is a seasonal position involving driving to and from plants, quarries, and job sites in a safe and efficient manner. The driver will operate a truck equipped with a live bottom body to transport loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, and bituminous paving materials. Key duties include conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water), oiling, greasing, and fueling the truck, operating the vehicle safely in traffic, and following all company policies and DOT regulations. The role requires good judgment and the ability to work without direct supervision.

• ›Valid NYS CDL Class B driver's license
• ›Must adhere to all DOT and Barrett Paving Material safety regulations
• ›Must be able to climb onto and up and down a vehicle several times a day
• ›Must be able to sit in and operate a vehicle for several hours without stopping
• ›Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• ›Must wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• ›OSHA 10 – Construction certification required
